Industry Defence and Security Australia Limited, organiser of the biennial LAND FORCES defence exposition, announces that LAND FORCES 2020 will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from Tuesday 1 to Thursday 3 September 2020.

Presented with support from the Australian Army, the biennial LAND FORCES exposition is an international industry event to showcase equipment, technology and services for the armies of Australia and the Indo-Asia-Pacific.

The 2018 event set new records, with more than 15,000 attendances across its three days, including 624 participating companies from 26 countries and 74 defence, trade and industry delegations from 36 countries. The event also hosted 21 associated conferences, seminars and symposia.

“The LAND FORCES Exposition is an event of national, regional and international significance,” said Ian Honnery, Chief Executive of Industry Defence and Security Australia Limited.

“It is the region’s premier platform for engagement and exchange of ideas between Army, Defence, Government, academia and industry.

“The LAND FORCES 2020 team is now setting about ensuring the event will achieve its goals of providing an effective platform for the exchange of ideas on key land forces issues and of taking Australian industry to the world by bringing the world to Australia.”

Industry Defence and Security Australia Limited is a not-for-profit organisation established to promote the development of Australian industrial and technological capability with respect to defence and security. It is a member of the not-for profit group established by Aerospace Maritime Defence and Security Foundation of Australia Limited. Other group activities include the biennial Australian International Air Show and Aerospace & Defence Exposition at Avalon, the Pacific International Maritime Exposition in Sydney, the Rotortech Industry Exposition in Brisbane and the CivSec International Civil Security Exposition and Congress in Melbourne.
