Where is LAND FORCES held?

LAND FORCES is held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) and the main entrance is located on Merivale Street – located on the corner of Merivale & Glenelg Street, South Brisbane, and can be accessed via stairs or the lift adjacent to the stairs on the left hand side.

Is LAND FORCES open to the public?

The event is not open to the general public.

The exposition and conference sessions are reserved for those with a professional, government agency, business, academic, scientific, operational or response involvement in land defence and related industry sectors.

Is there an age restriction for LAND FORCES?

Patrons must be at least 16 years of age to enter the exposition.

When will my print-at-home badge be sent to me?

If you have already registered to LAND FORCES, your print-at-home badge will be sent to you two weeks prior to LAND FORCES. If you register for LAND FORCES within the two weeks before the event, your print-at-home badge will be sent to you straight away.

What type of conferences are being held?

Is there public transport available to take me to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC)?

Getting to BCEC via public transport is easy and efficient with bus, ferry and train options available. More information about planning your journey via public transport can be found on the TransLink website.

South Brisbane Railway Station adjacent to the Convention Centre on Grey Street or South Bank Railway Station are the most convenient stations to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The Cultural Centre Station on Melbourne Street and the South Bank Busway Station corner of Colchester and Tribune Streets are closest to BCEC.

The public transport ferries CityCats operate everyday and stop at the South Bank River Terminal on the Clem Jones Promenade. The inner-city ferry travels between the CBD, North Quay and Kangaroo Point, stopping at South Bank Terminal 1 and 2 on the Clem Jones Promenade.

Is there parking at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC)?

Is Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) cashless?

Yes, BCEC is cashless. Payment can only be made by EFT/credit card.

Who organises LAND FORCES?

LAND FORCES is organised and conducted by AMDA FOUNDATION LIMITED with support from the Australian Army, the Australian Department of Defence and the Defence Science and Technology Group (DST Group).

This is function is open to all exhibitors, trade visitors, conference delegates, media and invited guests.

Why haven’t I received my exhibitor badge?

You will only receive an exhibitor badge when your Stand Coordinator has assigned you a badge. Please contact your Stand Coordinator for clarification. If you need further assistance, please contact our Exhibition Operations at

What type of access do I need for LAND FORCES?

After registering for LAND FORCES, you will receive your print-at-home badge two weeks prior to the event. You will need to ensure you print this badge prior to arriving at LAND FORCES to gain access to the event.

What type of security is at LAND FORCES entrance?

There will be airport style security for ALL visitors to LAND FORCES. Access is reserved for those with a professional, government agency, business, academic, scientific, operational or response involvement in land defence and related industry sectors.
